Our client, Canada’s leading retailer, is seeking an Intermediate Data Analyst with strong Python development skills to support their data analytics initiatives. This role focuses heavily on leveraging Python for data analysis, reconciliation, and transformation, while also delivering insights through interactive dashboards.

• Analyze large and complex datasets from multiple sources using Python and SQL to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and duplication.
• Build and maintain Python scripts for data cleansing, transformation, and automation.
• Support data reconciliation between real-time and analytical datasets (PostgreSQL, BigQuery).
• Develop proof-of-concept dashboards using visualization tools like Looker (preferred), Tableau, or Power BI to present actionable insights.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define, iterate, and refine analytics and dashboard requirements.
• Modify, run, and enhance existing data processing scripts, contributing to the development of robust data pipelines.

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, working with large-scale datasets
• Advanced proficiency in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and automation
• Strong experience with SQL for querying and troubleshooting across relational databases
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Looker (preferred), Power BI, or Tableau
• Experience working in cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP); AWS or Azure is also acceptable
• Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL and data warehouses like BigQuery
