Intermediate Contract Analyst to assist with reviewing, drafting and negotiating Commercial Commodity Contracts with our Oil and Gas client (Req 10593)

Our Oil and Gas Client is seeking a Intermediate Contract Analyst to assist with reviewing, drafting and negotiating Commercial Commodity Contracts

Candidates will be 5 days/week in-office in downtown Calgary. There are 2 roles (One with Full time hours and one with Part time hours).

Must haves:

• 3+ years related experience as a Contract Analyst or Legal Administration role with a focus on reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts
• 3+ years of experience in execution, management and retention of contracts with understanding of legal contractual language
• Previous Oil and Gas experience

Responsibilities:

• Performing a range of general administrative duties to ensure effective support is provided to the Commercial Commodity Contracts team.
• Scoping and analysis of crude oil, natural gas, NGL, refined products purchase and sale agreements. This includes, but is not limited to, General Terms and Conditions and Master Agreements.
• Scoping and analysis of credit support documentation including parental guarantees.
• Creating, updating, revising, and tracking amounts of large data regarding business stakeholder information.
• Provides support to internal and external business stakeholders with communications and negotiations and timely execution of various commodities related agreements.
• Coordinates with Front Office and its support functions such as Credit, Legal, Tax, Accounting, Insurance, Customs and Risk Compliance to: review, negotiate and amend various commodities purchase and sale agreements.
