GBM&T Central Compliance is a sub-group within GBM&T Compliance, the key mandate is to support our regional GBM&T Compliance teams to execute the Bank’s Compliance Risk Management Program.

Project: The Bank is required to review the Regulatory Library every three years, including every field and mapping of each regulatory requirement, and key controls mapped. While the Bank is developing a strategic approach for this review, a tactical approach needs to be executed in parallel to show continuous progress for this work. The focus of the work for the contractor will be Asia Pacific (main focus) and potentially Europe and United Kingdom related

• Review existing regulatory requirements in the Regulatory Library, validate accuracy and completeness of the requirement details vs. the official source. Reasonably review and challenge the other mandatory fields, such as prioritization of the regulation, whether the regulation is local vs. extraterritorial, appropriateness of the business units and/or control & support functions tagged to the requirements, and whether the key controls mapped are effectively mitigating the regulatory compliance risk of the requirements. In some cases, self-serve AI tool is available to help with the review.

• Work with key stakeholders to discuss identified gaps and observations, resolve the gaps where appropriate, or work with action owners to raise an issue to resolve the gaps.

• Track progress of the review and provide periodic reports to management.

• Verifying accuracy of obligations in library and that metadata fields are reasonably populated, applicable business units that are mapped to the obligation are reasonably complete and accurate; key controls currently mapped are reasonably complete ; there are checklists and AI prompts but needs hands-on manual review
