Job Description:
The Consultant, Global Technology Architecture Risk, Governance, and Operations is responsible for supporting the operation, oversight and monitoring of the technology architecture processes and controls in compliance with established bank policies, standards and regulatory requirements. The Consultant:
• Provides business analysis on projects, developing requirements
• Works with partners to develop solution /technical requirements and design on projects
• works closely with internal architecture groups, technology and operational risk partners in the first line to identify, measure, mitigate and monitor technology risk
• Helps resolve a variety of ambiguous challenges with organization-wide impacts on managing operational risks in a consistent and collaborative approach.
• Helps users of Global Technology Architecture services achieve outcomes through responding to questions, conducting problem analysis on issues
• Aids in the successful testing and delivery of capabilities on architecture processes and platforms.
Job Description
As a Global Technology Architecture Risk Governance and Operations team member you will collaborate with architecture, technology and risk partners to facilitate work efforts to improve processes, identify risk and propose improvements and/or actions to remediate and improve current state. Use your corporate knowledge, skills and experience to deliver on process and internal requirements for “business as usual”, regulatory and project efforts.
This role provides subject matter expertise on leading architecture problem resolution, including raising inconsistencies to management, preparing people change management materials, seeking methods to simplify and strengthen processes and related controls.
This role will be focused on supporting the bank's Technology Architecture Framework principles and deliverables in meeting expectations through strong process and control oversight and management.
o Staying Current - You keep abreast of the external environment - IT best practices and regulatory guidelines to determine where process changes are required. We’re looking for someone able to self-drive to discover in order to define and develop improvements to problem-solving. It’s preferred if you have: Previous experience supporting a Financial Services Client is preferred.
o Managing Risk - Risk management focus in technology architecture, process, controls, identification of risks, mitigations, monitoring (KRI, thresholds) and robust supporting change management in support of Risk methodology expectations.
o Operational Excellence - Conduct maturity assessments against process activities to highlight areas of improvement or concern. Leveraging a strong mix of data-driven and creative problem solving approach.
o Communicator - Outstanding communication, facilitation and presentation skills in the delivery of working more efficiently, influencing simplification as a goal and creating robust, sustainable risk management culture within Technology Architecture (TA).
o Change Management - Apply a proactive approach by supporting technology architecture team members and partners impacted by change to understand and transition in using a new process or change initiative.

1. Experience as BSA - 5+ years
2. Experience with regulatory project within financial services - 5+ years
3. Experience with Jira and confluence - 2+ years
4. Experience with Sharepoint - 2+ years
5. Experience with managing stakeholders - 5+ years
6. Strong communication skills

1. Banking Experience
