Integration Lead / Delivery Portfolio Lead to drive alignment and governance across multiple initiatives within a growing data platform environment

Our large Oil & Gas industry client is seeking a strategic Integration Lead / Delivery Portfolio Lead to drive alignment and governance across multiple initiatives within a growing data platform environment. This role will focus on establishing a clear operating model, defining accountabilities, and ensuring cohesive delivery across teams that are currently not fully integrated.

This is an initial 6-month engagement with potential for extension. The successful candidate will be based in Calgary and agreeable to working full-time onsite.

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of professional experience within integration leadership, portfolio, or delivery leadership
• At least one project integrating or creating solutions for Data Platforms (ideally AI)
• Expertise in building operating models and governance frameworks in complex environments
• Experience managing cross-functional teams in partially integrated or evolving ecosystems
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Strategic thinker with strong execution capability

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience working alongside senior leadership (Director-level or above)
• Exposure to AI/ML product delivery or data platform transformation initiatives
• Experience managing or coordinating external vendors/ partners

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner directly with the Director to shape and execute strategy across AI and Data Platform initiatives
• Lead integration across multiple teams and workstreams to ensure cohesive delivery
• Define and implement a clear operating model, including governance, decision rights, and escalation paths
• Establish and formalize roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities across stakeholders
• Drive cross-functional standups and delivery cadences
• Oversee execution as a delivery portfolio manager, ensuring alignment to priorities, timelines, and outcomes
• Coordinate with platform leadership, vendor partners, and engineering teams
• Identify gaps in integration and proactively implement solutions to improve alignment and efficiency
• Bring structure to a non-fully integrated environment, enabling scalability and consistency
