Int. UX Designer to join a new team with our Digital Banking client.

Duration: 9 month contract, with chance to extend

Location: Hybrid (Downtown Toronto) - in-office at least 2 days per week (up to 4 after September)

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver functional, accessible, visual and interaction designs for a customer journey
• Work within a design system. Contribute to the evolution of the design system.
• Conduct end-to-end user research focused on usability, interaction, visual and information architecture,
• Articulate design decisions based on design principles, customer data and business needs.
• Work closely with design strategists and content designers.
• Collaborate with all levels of business stakeholders.
• Work in an Agile environment, within tight timelines, while maintaining creativity within design constraints.

Must haves:

• 5+ years of experience designing responsive web-applications as a UX Designer/Product Designer
• 5+ years of experience using Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) to create wireframes, graphic designs, and information architecture
• Previous work experience in a Financial Institution/Big 5 Bank
• HTML, CSS and JavaScript and the capabilities of web browsers, mobile applications and user interactions.
• Ability to communicate with developers (critical)
