Description
Our client is Canada's largest retailer. They are looking for an Int. Security Analyst - Risk Assessor to evaluate risks across application, infrastructure, third-party vendors, and cloud environments.
Location: Brampton (4 days/week onsite)
Duration: Until Dec 2025 to Start
Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments for projects, applications, infrastructure, and third-party vendors.
- Review architecture diagrams, solution designs, and tech requirements to identify and document security risks.
- Evaluate vendor security documentation (SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, CSA CAIQ, etc.) and provide risk recommendations.
- Write clear, concise risk reports and summaries for both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate risk findings and recommend mitigation strategies.
Must Have Skills:
- 4+ Years in Cybersecurity Risk Assessments
- Experience conducting Application, Infrastructure, Third-Party and Cloud Risk Assessments.
- Strong understanding of cloud environments (Azure/GCP preferred, AWS accepted)
- Security Certifications - CISSP or equivalent (CISM, CRISC, Security+, etc.)
