Int. Configuration Management Analyst with ServiceNow expertise to drive enterprise-wide standardization and expansion of CMDB usage across ~350 identified touchpoints for our payments client

Type: Permanent/FTE

Location: Etobicoke (Hybrid, unless outside of GTA)

Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Senior Manager, IT Service Management.

As the Analyst, Configuration Management, you will lead the efficient design, accuracy, quality and security of the configuration management database (CMDB), and oversees the end-to-end sustainment process of configuration data within the CMDB.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the efficient design, accuracy, quality and security of the configuration management database (CMDB); oversees the end-to-end sustainment process of configuration data within the CMDB.
• Designs and oversee the implementation of improvements to existing configuration management processes and discovery schedules.
• Lead the Control Board (CCB) meetings with the CI Owners; publishes minutes and tracks action items. Additionally accountable for the developing and maintaining an effective Configuration Control Board (CCB) process to ensure effective governance and quality of the CMDB and supporting components.
• Design, develop and oversee service maps to define and document all IT services.

Must Haves:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in information technology, system administration, information systems management or similar disciplines.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience within a Configuration Management role.
• ITIL and/or other ITSM designation required.
• Experience with a recognized process and/or service-mapping framework.
• Proficient in TCP/IP networking and network infrastructure components.
• Proficient in server, storage, and database components.
• Proficient in leading projects or project steps and communicating progress/approach with technical and non-technical peers/clients.
