Our client, a leader in Canadian retail, is seeking an Intermediate Copywriter to support the People, Process, and Technology team. In this role, you'll craft clear, concise, and engaging content for help text and notifications within Microsoft Dynamics and Workday platforms-focusing on modules such as payroll, time tracking, and attendance. You will collaborate closely with HR stakeholders and contribute to strategic communication efforts while utilizing tools like Adobe Creative Suite to bring clarity and cohesion to internal messaging.

Key Responsibilities:People:
  • Collaborate with HR leads and functional area stakeholders (Payroll, HCM, Benefits) to gather content needs and align messaging.
  • Provide content development guidance and mentorship to junior copywriters.
  • Ensure written content supports HR processes and improves employee experience.
Process:
  • Write help text, alerts, and system messages for HR technologies like Microsoft Dynamics and Workday.
  • Maintain a consistent tone aligned with the company’s brand voice across all internal platforms.
  • Regularly review, update, and improve content based on feedback and evolving business needs.
Technology:
  • Utilize content management tools and Adobe Creative Suite to design and publish content.
  • Ensure content is optimized for digital platforms, including mobile responsiveness.
  • Stay informed on content writing trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance content quality.

Must-Have Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of copywriting experience, preferably within retail or consumer goods sectors.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in writing instructional content and system notifications.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience writing content for enterprise software platforms like Workday or MS Dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of content strategy, UX writing principles, and SEO best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
