Position Title: Specialty Developer - Intermediate

Line of Business: EQUITY MARKETS TECHNOLOGY - Capital Markets - Cash equities - Prime Brokerage line of business.

Contract Duration: 6 Months - looking for CW to convert to FTE

Remote/Hybrid: In office - Thurs and every 4th Friday

Location Address: 81 Bay 15th Floor

Project: The team is looking for a Full stack Developer. The CW will be working on multiple projects related to Cash equities - Prime Brokerage.

Job Description:

• Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications

• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts

• Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution

• Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area

• Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment

• Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner

Must haves:

1. 4+ years of experience- designing, developing, implementing, documenting, and supporting applications.

2. .NET 5 or later (C#, NHibernate)

3. Python

4. Oracle and PL/SQL (preferred over MS SQL Server)

5. Angular 15 or later

Nice to have:

1. Significant advantage for candidates with prior experience in Capital Markets, particularly in Equity Markets and/or Prime Brokerage.

2. REST API or Web Services

3. Microservices

4. Enterprise Service Bus technologies (e.g., IBM MQ & Solace)

5. Cloud Proficiency: Strongly preferred experience with Azure Cloud, including:

o Data Warehousing

o Data Factories

o Serverless offerings such as Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps

o Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines

Education: Prefer degree/diploma in related field.
