Description
Our client is Canada's largest retailer. They are looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to drive business process clarity, organize requirements, and translate business asks into actionable technical documentation.
Duration: Until December 2026, to start
Location: 3-4 days/week onsite in Brampton
Responsibilities:
- Conduct stakeholder sessions with marketing and merchant teams
- Document business requirements and translate them into structured functional specifications
- Map business workflows and process gaps
- Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and decompose requirements into delivery-ready stories
- Track action items and maintain documentation discipline
- Support adoption readiness and usability considerations
- Partner with PMO to ensure clarity of scope and alignment
Must Haves:
- 8+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience
- Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and interviews, translating into specifications for technical teams
- Experience with SQL (able to validate and interpret data)
- Experience mapping business processes and workflows
- Experience working in Agile environments (Jira, Confluence)
