AVP of Data Analytics

· Define and lead the enterprise analytics strategy and roadmap in alignment with business and advisor goals.

· Build and manage a high-performing team of data analysts and data scientists.

· Develop and deliver dashboards, reporting tools, and performance metrics that drive decision-making and transparency.

· Lead the development of advanced analytics models and use cases, including client segmentation, forecasting, and advisor productivity insights.

· Translate strategic business questions into analytical approaches and actionable outputs.

· Promote adoption of self-service analytics tools across the organization.

· Partner with business leaders and technology teams to ensure analytics initiatives are well-integrated and relevant.

· Ensure analytics outputs meet high standards for quality, accuracy, and usability.

· Drive innovation by staying current on industry trends, tools, and techniques in analytics and data science.

Track the business impact of analytics programs and communicate results to senior leadership.

· Expertise in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik

· Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data exploration and modeling

· Experience with predictive analytics, segmentation, and statistical techniques

· Familiarity with cloud-based analytics environments (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, AWS/Azure analytics stacks)

· Understanding of data modeling, data marts, and reporting layer best practices

· Knowledge of CRM, marketing, client, or portfolio data structures

· Experience using analytics to support sales enablement, client insights, or operational performance

Version control, documentation, and reproducibility of analytics workflows

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field required. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in business intelligence, data science, or advanced analytics roles
• At least 3 years in a leadership or people management role
• Strong experience delivering analytics solutions in financial services or wealth management
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both business and technical teams
