Job Description: Position Title: Application developer
Line of Business: Capital market technology
Duration: 6 months
Remote/Hybrid: Onsite 4 days (Mon-Thursday)
Office Location: 161 Bay 10th Floor
What project will this contractor be working on? Support FX desk
Best vs average candidate: great communication skills, ability to talk to traders and take requirements, Excel, VBA and Python experience, business knowledge in FX class will be big asset, experience with C# will be an asset, Bloom berg experience and experience building dashboards in Python
Job Description: Front Office developer in Toronto focusing on on-desk solutions for traders in curve management, pricing, risk reporting and market data. Here are the skills we’re looking for.
Must Have Requirement:
1. Experience with Excel- 2 years
2. Experience with VBA - 2 years
3. Experience with Python - 2 years
4. Excellent Front Office Business Knowledge in one or more asset classes (preferably FX, Equities, Commodities, FI & Rates) - 1 year
5. Strong communication skills
Nice to Have:
1. Experience working with Market Data Platforms such as Bloomberg.
2. Experience working with Ploty Dash and building dashboards in Python.
3. Experience in C#
