MEET THE TEAM
We work with colleagues across the globe. We use a large, well defined design system, participate in design critiques and connect with designers across the company at monthly meetups.
Your day-to-day will allow you to collaborate with other designers, product managers, software engineers, data scientists and domain experts to create new cloud native products within the Commerce and Consumer Industries.
Our team applies user centered design processes to modernize the enterprise software experience. We work at the intersection of user experience design and machine learning to build the future.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As we are a startup-like environment, a wide variety of tasks and a dynamic work environment are a given.
Responsibilities
- Create end-to-end prototypes at various levels of fidelity and test them with external facing users
- Lead product definition by user testing different concepts with rapid prototyping
- Assist in creation of user flow diagrams and system flow diagrams
- Advocate for the user when working closely with product managers and engineers to understand the business and technical constraints
- Work in a modern collaborative design stack with other UX designers and stakeholders across time-zones in North America and Europe
- Assist in planning and facilitation of client facing design workshops and co-innovation sessions
- Assist in synthesis of research findings and present outcomes to stakeholders
- Incorporate research findings into design prototypes
- Collaborate closely with engineers to create designs that are easily implemented and flow into production
Communication Skills
- Ability to articulate rationale of design and research decision making in a clear and logical manner whether via conversations or presentations
- Present design interaction details to engineers for clear understanding of the mockups
- Collaborate and communicate with customers and internal teams
WHAT YOU BRING
- 3+ years of real-world user experience/interaction/product design, ideally with responsive web design and frameworks
- A strong portfolio that showcases your UX work, explaining your role on the projects, with examples of functional designs that you have created from start to finish
- Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment using collaborative tools
- Experience with user research and a desire and willingness to improve your user research skills
- Understanding of which research method to use at different stages of the product development cycle
- Experience with modern design tools such as Figma and/or Sketch
- Planned or facilitated design thinking workshops

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 92200 - 156800(CAD) CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount, and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance. Due to the nature of the role, which involves global interactions with SAP entities, as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada, functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
