Job SummaryWhat is the opportunity?As a Financial Analyst with Personal & Commercial Banking (P&CB) Performance Management you will work directly with the Credit Cards and Loyalty Finance teams on financial reports and ad-hoc analysis on business activities through the use of Excel, PowerPoint and other database tools. These initiatives will provide value-added insights, and help driving efficiencies and profitability for our business teams. You will also work with our partners to learn about financial services industry, RBCs Loyalty and Rewards business, and how to incorporate business strategy with financial analysis to provide financial advisory support. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with an analytical mindset, and a willingness to learn about the RBCs Retail Banking business.Job DescriptionWhat will you do?Work independently and provide support to Loyalty & Rewards performance management team, including but not limited to analyses on business drivers, product profitability, monthly and quarterly reporting process, and ad-hoc requests from business partnersUnderstand, dissect and analyze credit card products profitability.
