Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Property Coordinator to join our team! In this role you will get to participate in design and construction infrastructure projects to identify and the necessary property requirements for the successful implementation of the projects.

Land management is a key role on infrastructure design and construction projects and a Property Coordinator supports the team in identifying, obtaining and tracking the property requirements.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Identifying the property interests (e.g., acquisition, temporary and permanent easements) for surface, subsurface and air rights on public and private properties
  • Liaising with design and construction teams to identify the property needs
  • Interfacing with the client to convey property requirements
  • Documenting through reports and drawings the property requirements
  • Assisting with permission to enter for temporary access
  • Tracking property requirements/activities
  • Implementing property variation requests during construction
  • Facilitating the hand back of properties at the end of construction
  • Assisting with property aspects of proposal development
  • Providing additional assistance with project permits and approvals

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Education and Experience Requirements

  • BA/BS from a recognized university, preferably in the planning and/or engineering field, or relevant experience
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years experience providing property support on design and/or construction projects
  • Must be proficient in MS Office Suite
  • CAD experience an asset
  • Permit and approval acquisition experience an asset
