The opportunity
This is a strategic leadership role focused on enabling enterprise-wide People & Culture (P&C) systems. As the Senior Manager, People Systems, you will lead the development and execution of a systems roadmap that integrates platforms like Workday, Beamery, HireVue, LinkedIn Learning etc. You’ll play a key role in shaping how technology supports P&C processes, analytics, and operational excellence across the organization.
Who you'll work with
Reporting to the Director of People Operations, you’ll lead a team of 3-4 direct reports and work closely with P&C Centres of Excellence (CoEs), business client groups including Information Technology, Privacy, Legal, and AI committees. You’ll also manage relationships with external vendors and serve as a strategic thought partner to senior P&C leadership
What you'll do
Collaborate with CoEs to understand business needs and provide consultative guidance on P&C technologies and integration.
Develop and manage strategic roadmaps for P&C systems, including implementation, administration, and ongoing support.
Lead the design and evolution of P&C system processes, reporting frameworks, and internal controls.
Build and manage a center of excellence for consultation, process, and program design.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, with a focus on integrating AI and data & analytics.
Create and manage dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools to support decision-making.
Translate stakeholder requirements into system solutions and manage operational delivery of key initiatives.
Facilitate training, communication, and change management for the P&C systems portfolio.
Partner with CoEs to manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and support upgrades.
Oversee system releases and enhancements, manage issue logs and case tracking (e.g., JIRA).
Lead and participate in technology projects, from vendor selection to post-implementation support.
Guide and coach the Talent Systems team, ensuring knowledge transfer and performance support.
What you'll need
Deep technical knowledge of Workday (security, workflows, etc.).
Minimum ten years’ experience preferably within P&C operational, process and HRIS roles.
Minimum 7 years managing a team within P&C Systems, preferably with Workday.
Minimum 5 years of end-to-end systems experience, including implementation and project management.
Experience with agile project delivery and change management methodologies.
Advanced Excel skills (data management, statistical analysis, pivot tables) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to assess risk and drive improvements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Proven ability to influence decisions, facilitate leadership-level discussions, and drive service excellence.
Global experience and ability to navigate cross-functional stakeholder environments.
University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Operations, Computer Science, or Engineering.
