About Brucejack

Our Brucejack Gold Mine, a high-grade underground mine in beautiful northern British Columbia, is located approximately 65 kilometres north of Stewart. Brucejack is a fly-in/fly-out operation with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. We work closely with local First Nations communities including the Nisga’a, Tahltan, Gitanyow, and Gitxsan, to build respectful partnerships and celebrate our shared community.

As a member of the Brucejack family, we put your health, comfort, and safety first. You’ll stay in private rooms with individual washrooms, enjoy balanced meals prepared by our exceptional culinary team, and have access to a 24-hour snack and sandwich bar. We also have plenty of ways for you to relax and stay active, with a gym, fitness classes, a golf simulator, and seasonal activities like snowshoeing and hiking. For creative downtime, our music room is a fully equipped space where you can play or listen to music. Our Brucejack Recreation Committee, run by employees on a volunteer basis, organizes activities and events to make camp life fun and bring people together. The committee also plans holiday decorations, charity raffles, and outdoor events, helping create a warm and friendly community.

Your impact
You’ll keep end-user technology running smoothly and securely, ensuring employees can do their jobs without disruption. Your work directly improves productivity, user experience, and trust in digital tools across the site. This is an on-site positon requiring the successful candidate to work two weeks on, two weeks off.

As part of our team you will
• Support and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and video-conferencing equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and device issues efficiently
• Manage user accounts, access rights, and permissions
• Monitor and apply security measures to protect devices and data
• Support local technology projects, vendors, and contractors
• Gather user feedback to continuously improve end-user services

Prerequisites for your success in this role
• Degree or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
• Hands-on experience supporting end-user devices and applications
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
• Knowledge of user access management and device security practices
• Comfortable working with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Your work environment
You’ll work in a site-based technical environment, supporting employees across multiple teams. The role involves hands-on device support, collaboration with IT colleagues and vendors, and responding to issues in a fast-paced operational setting.

The expected salary range for this role is CA$85,400 - 113,900 . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s pay history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about pay history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
