Hours:
Monday to Thursday - 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM (1/2-hour unpaid break) 8:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Friday - 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM (1/2-hour unpaid break) 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join the facilities team at St. Mary’s School. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of experience and commitment to supporting the school, staff, and students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean facilities and contents using a variety of equipment and chemical products.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Effective and safe snow removal practices
- Perform all physical aspects of the role (e.g., lifting up to 50 lbs).
- Work independently and demonstrate self-direction and motivation with minimal supervision.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with school staff and students.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Preferred: High school diploma.
- Required: Previous custodial experience.
- Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) and workplace safety protocols.
- Proficiency in technology, including Google email and internet navigation.
- Provide a successful PDA
