Job Responsibilities:

  • Salary: Starting at $22.00 per hour

  • Immediate, open position

Support the Finance & Controlling team with accurate, timely, and well-documented financial processing, reporting, and analysis for Magna IT. The student will assist with month-end activities, project cost tracking, controls documentation, and ad‑hoc analysis while developing hands-on skills with ERP, BI, and collaboration tools.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assist with report preparation, perform basic variance analysis, and support intercompany reconciliations

  • Review and summarize key observations of AP/AR balances and aging

  • Support cost center and project reporting, monitor IT project financials (time tracking, POs), and assist in allocation model updates and intercompany charge reconciliation

  • Prepare data templates, update dashboards, and draft presentations containing relevant KPIs and financial insights

  • Perform data cleanup and maintain organized/accurate SharePoint folders and version control

  • Assist with document preparation, respond to ad‑hoc data or analysis requests. Contribute to additional finance, reporting, analysis, or operational tasks as assigned to support evolving team needs

Who we are looking for

  • Working towards a bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accounting

  • Proficient with MS Office suite of software, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook

  • Attentive to detail, with strong time management skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Pronounced affinity for numbers and analytical way of thinking

  • Ability to work in a confidential manner due to access to information of a sensitive nature
