Sr. Administrative Assistant- Highway Construction
Location: Edmonton, AB | Company: Ledcor

Join Ledcor’s Highway Construction team as a Sr. Administrative Assistant, where you'll provide essential support to field and office teams delivering infrastructure projects across Alberta. This office-based role in Edmonton offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, construction-focused environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Carry out a wide range of sensitive and diverse administrative and operational duties within the department such as internal approvals processes, contract review and the archiving of files
  • Support daily administrative tasks: filing, scheduling, document preparation, expense tracking and reconciliation
  • Assist with contracts, RFPs, insurance, bonds and project documentation
  • Coordinate communication tools, travel logistics, and field support
  • Prepare and review reports, presentations, and project correspondence
  • Help organize meetings, events, catering and logistics
  • Liaise with IT, vendors, and internal departments to support field operations

What You Bring:

  • 3-5 years’ admin experience (construction/highway sector preferred)
  • Strong skills in MS Office; comfortable with systems and tech tools
  • Excellent organization, communication, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and support field teams effectively
  • Professional, reliable, and solution-oriented attitude

Position Details:

  • Full-time, office-based (Monday to Friday) at Ledcor’s Edmonton campus
