As part of the HR Automation & Analytics team, and in collaboration with the BES Enterprise Analytics and HR Technology teams, the HR Analytics team is responsible for providing proactive and actionable talent-related insights that will lead to better talent decisions and, ultimately, better talent and business outcomes. 

 

The Data Analyst, HR Analytics will be responsible for delivering talent metrics and providing proactive and actionable talent-related insights, collaborating with various stakeholders to understand business challenges and develop solutions that improve HR and business outcomes.


What you will do

  • Collect, clean, and analyze people data from various sources, including HR systems, surveys, and external benchmarks.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key HR metrics and trends.
  • Conduct statistical analyses to identify patterns and insights related to employee engagement, retention, performance, and other HR-related areas.
  • Work with our Functional HR Business Partners (HRBPs) by gathering talent data and providing insights to support leadership discussions and strategic recommendations.
  • Utilize advanced statistical techniques to forecast future trends and outcomes, supporting in proactive and informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand essential business decisions and challenges.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of HR analytics with broader business strategies.
  • Provide training and support to stakeholders on the use of analytics tools and interpretation of data insights.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback for continuous improvement of analytics solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
  • Communicate complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner to stakeholders.
  • Analyze, transform, and interpret data to develop insights, reports, visualizations, and dashboards, emphasizing usability and good design practices.
  • Act as the HR lead on HR-related analytics projects.
  • Conduct statistical analyses to identify patterns and insights related to employee engagement, retention, performance, and other HR-related areas.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners to understand their data needs and provide customized analytical solutions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to HR leadership and other stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Support the development and implementation of data-driven HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all analytical processes.

What you bring to the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Programs, Stats, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Information Management, Data Management, Applied Math, or Applied Statistics.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in HR or people analytics.
  • Knowledge in analytics, statistics, data mining, machine learning, natural language processing, mathematics
  • Must have experience in managing and processing data from Excel, text, other structured and unstructured databases
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar
  • Demonstrated experience with SQL
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with HR-related systems and data a strong asset
