We are seeking a Senior Manager to play a pivotal role in guiding public- and private-sector organizations through complex strategic, financial, and organizational challenges. This is a senior advisory role is ideal for a leader who ex cels at bring structure to ambiguity, influence executive decision‑making, and deliver measurable impact on nationally significant initiatives.

 


What you will do

As the successful candidate, you will be part of the team delivering high quality services to top tier public and private sector clients.

 

Client Advisory & Delivery

  • Lead c engagements across sectors such as energy, transportation (roads, rail, bus, ports, ferries, airports), mining, education and others.
  • Advise clients on planning and executing capital projects within their organizational constraints.
  • Develop governance and operating models, procurement strategies, contract frameworks, and commercial assessments for major capital projects.
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions with senior executives and project teams.
  • Synthesize diverse stakeholder perspectives into clear, actionable pathways.

 

Thought Leadership & Expertise

  • Apply deep capital planning and delivery knowledge across sectors (energy, transport, water, buildings, etc.) to the industry.
  • Bring cross-functional and innovative solutions to client challenges.

 

Project & Team Leadership

  • Manage project teams and deliver high-quality outcomes in alignment with KPMG’s values.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative culture.
  • Work in a fast paced environment and commercial environment.
  • Be curious and show initiative about the capital planning and delivery industry

 

Business Development

  • Lead business development initiatives including proposal development and build strong client relationships.

What you bring to the role

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering the advisory activities above.
  • 10+years experience in capital planning and delivery in complex organizations.
  • University Degree in areas such as Engineering, Construction and Architecture or related discipline.
  • Advisory experience with an organizations boards, councils and senior executives and delivering concise and insight-generating materials.
  • A working knowledge of capital procurement delivery models and project management principles
  • Experience in consulting is an asset.

 

KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information   

The expected base salary range for this position is $114,500 to $205,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program
