Description
At KPMG, you’ll join a team of diverse and dedicated problem solvers, connected by a common cause: turning insight into opportunity for clients and communities around the world.
Our Tax & Legal practice is undergoing a major transformation, and we are looking for a Manager, Strategic Content & Communications, to help shape how we communicate this change – making information easier to access, messages more meaningful, and engagement more impactful.
In this role, you will develop and deliver a modern communications strategy that informs, inspires, and connects our people to our vision for the future of our practice. This role combines strategic storytelling with creative execution – someone who can design, write, and produce content and assets that bring our transformation to life in fresh and visually engaging ways.
What you will do
- Develop and execute a strategic content and communications plan aligned to the practice’s transformation priorities.
- Reimagine how we communicate – shifting from email-heavy updates to modern, multi-channel engagement that meets people where they are (eg. Teams, Copilot, internal portal, etc.)
- Create compelling and visually engaging content that connects people to the purpose behind transformation – including articles, infographics, leadership messages, videos and digital campaign assets.
- Manage and maintain a consistent visual and narrative identity for all communications, ensuring everything feels connected, clear, and professional.
- Oversee a content calendar to ensure timely, relevant, and coordinated storytelling across multiple channels.
- Create opportunities for two-way communication, gathering feedback and insights from the practice to continuously improve how we connect and communicate.
- Support change management efforts by developing communication approaches that help people understand and embrace new ways of working.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across national and geo marketing and communications.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders including executives and SMEs.
What you bring to the role
- 5 years of experience in internal communications, media relations, PR or equivalent - preferably in a large and/or complex matrixed environment.
- Strong story-telling and creative design skills with the ability to craft compelling messages and visually engaging assets.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to connect content and design to business and transformation goals.
- Proficient in tools for content creation and visual communication (eg. PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, video editing, or similar).
- Digitally savvy with a passion for exploring new channels and creative formats (video, visuals, AI tools, interactive content).
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen eye for brand and tone consistency.
- Organized and adaptable with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
