Canadian Tax and Private Company Tax
What you will do
- Participate in the preparation of tax provisions and tax compliance;
- Integrate with the tax engagement team to meet clients' needs for the preparation of tax provisions and tax compliance;
- Participate in assignments for KPMG Private Company clients;
- Prepare and collaborate on tax research presentations for clients;
- Supervise the work of less experienced team members;
- Communicate on a regular basis with clients to assist them with their various tax obligations.
What you bring to the role
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a firm;
- You have completed your Masters in Taxation (M.Tax) or similar designations.
- Have passed your CFA and have or are in the process of obtaining your CPA designation (is an asset);
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic about taking on a variety of challenges;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Demonstrate the ability to build relationships with customers, colleagues and the community;
- Willingness to learn and develop.
