Canadian Tax and Private Company Tax


What you will do

  • Participate in the preparation of tax provisions and tax compliance;
  • Integrate with the tax engagement team to meet clients' needs for the preparation of tax provisions and tax compliance;
  • Participate in assignments for KPMG Private Company clients;
  • Prepare and collaborate on tax research presentations for clients;
  • Supervise the work of less experienced team members;
  • Communicate on a regular basis with clients to assist them with their various tax obligations.

What you bring to the role

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a firm;
  • You have completed your Masters in Taxation (M.Tax) or similar designations. 
  • Have passed your CFA and have or are in the process of obtaining your CPA designation (is an asset);
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic about taking on a variety of challenges;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Demonstrate the ability to build relationships with customers, colleagues and the community;
  • Willingness to learn and develop.
