ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to take ownership of tenant improvement and retrofit projects. With a strong pipeline for 2026, the company offers stability, growth, and the opportunity to lead technically challenging work from start to finish.

ABOUT THE POSITION
The Senior Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of tenant and retrofit projects, providing leadership across preconstruction, construction execution, budgeting, scheduling, and client relationship management. This role is ideal for an experienced Senior PM who brings deep knowledge of structural upgrades, institutional retrofits, and tenant improvements in the $5M-$25M+ range.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full project lifecycle from Preconstruction through turnover
  • Oversee structural upgrades, envelope work, and complex rebuild scopes
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and trade partners
  • Manage schedules, risk tracking, reporting, and project documentation
  • Review drawings, structural packages, and technical submittals
  • Oversee cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Issue and manage subcontracts, startup documentation, insurance, and WCB
  • Prepare monthly progress claims and review/approve subtrade invoices

Qualifications

  • 7-10+ years of commercial construction experience in a PM or Senior PM capacity
  • Proven experience delivering tenant improvement and retrofit projects $5M-$25M+
  • Strong technical understanding of structural work, sequencing, coordination, and field operations
  • Experience with institutional facilities, community buildings, or complex rebuilds an asset
  • Post-secondary technical education (BCIT or equivalent) in Construction or related field
  • Proficient with construction software (Procore, Outbuild, BuildingConnected, Microsoft Teams)
  • Strong communication and leadership skills; able to build trust with owners and consultants
  • Highly organized, proactive, and confident overseeing large-scale construction delivery

Compensation

  • Salary: $140,000 -$170,000 (includes base salary + vehicle benefit; dependent on experience)
  • Bonus: Performance-based; historically 10-20%+, above industry average
  • Work Model: Combination of office, site, and home based on project phase
