Senior Mid-Market Construction Underwriter

Our client is one of the leading insurance carrier in the market. They are looking for an experienced commercial underwriter who has strong expertise in construction to join their growing team in Toronto, Ontario. This role is a hybrid role where you can work in office and at home 50/50.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting for primarily construction accounts (mid-market)
• Establish relationships with brokers and generate new and repeated business
• Helping new, junior underwriters with their assigned tasks
• Attend industry events

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of experience in commercial underwriting
• Pursuing your CIP
