Personal Lines Insurance Agent

We are recruiting for multiple Personal Lines Service Broker positions with an established insurance brokerage.

This is a service-focused role supporting existing Personal Lines clients with policy changes, renewals, coverage questions, and day-to-day insurance needs. The team is growing due to a significant portfolio transition and offers opportunities for long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Service existing Personal Lines clients by phone and email
• Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals
• Handle Auto and Property inquiries
• Provide insurance advice and coverage recommendations
• Obtain quotes and work with insurance carriers
• Assist with claims and payment requests
• Maintain accurate client and policy documentation
• Support new business and remarketing opportunities

Requirements

• 1+ year of insurance experience
• Personal Lines experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of Ontario Personal Lines insurance
• Home & Auto experience
• RIBO strongly preferred
• OTL candidates may be considered with a commitment to obtain RIBO
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a high-volume service environment

Brokerage experience is preferred, but direct-writer and agency backgrounds will also be considered.

Compensation & Benefits

• $55,000-$65,000 base salary
• 20% commission on qualifying new business/remarketing
• Monthly performance bonuses

Work Arrangement

• Standard hours: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Hybrid options based on location
• Fully remote may be considered for candidates farther from the office
• Out-of-province candidates may be considered with strong Ontario insurance knowledge
