About The Opportunity
This is a strong opportunity for a junior Legal Administrative Assistant to build their career in corporate law within a boutique environment that offers hands-on experience and meaningful responsibility. About The Position
In this role, you will support two senior lawyers and one associate with a focus on corporate transactional matters, billing, and general legal administrative support. Responsibilities include file management, document preparation, coordinating closings, billing support, and client communication.
You will manage calendars, prepare and format legal documents, assist with trust and closing documentation, and handle billing tasks. The role also includes file opening/closing, administrative coordination, and occasional shared reception or team coverage. The lawyers you support are largely self-sufficient, resulting in a structured and manageable desk.
The Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Legal Administrative Assistant program or equivalent
- 1-4 years of experience in a Legal Administrative role (business law experience is an asset)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with legal tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, formatting, and document preparation skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to manage competing priorities
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment
Compensation
- Salary range of $55,000 - $70,000
