About The Position
The Commercial Lending Paralegal will provide comprehensive support to lawyers in the Vancouver office on commercial lending and real estate financing matters. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing loan and security documentation, managing files from opening through closing, coordinating registrations and filings, and conducting due diligence searches. Additional responsibilities include preparing and proofreading complex legal documents and correspondence, maintaining electronic and physical files, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transactions are completed accurately and efficiently. This position supports a busy commercial lending practice and requires strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing deadlines in a professional team environment.

The Requirements
• Graduate of a recognized Legal Assistant and/or Paralegal program (equivalent experience will be considered)
• Minimum four years of commercial lending experience within a law firm environment
• Experience with commercial real estate transactions considered a strong asset
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and document management systems
• Strong proofreading, writing, spelling, and grammar skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Proven ability to manage multiple transactions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Client-focused approach with a commitment to providing exceptional service
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a professional team setting

Compensation
• Salary range: $80,000-$110,000
