Account Executive, Trucking/Transportation

Are you passionate about building relationships and driving sales in the dynamic world of transportation? We’re seeking a proactive Account Executive, Trucking/Transportation to join a growing team.

This role combines client service and new business development, offering a chance to work with a diverse portfolio-from small owner-operators to large fleets and national accounts. You’ll be responsible for managing existing accounts, providing tailored quotes, and cultivating strong client relationships, all while expanding your book of business.

Compensation

• Salary of $90,000 to $110,000 depending on experience + commission

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new clients via referrals, networking, and industry events
• Renew existing accounts and provide tailored insurance solutions
• Engage with existing clients through calls, emails, and personal visits to strengthen loyalty
• Manage client claims and ensure excellent customer service
• Collaborate with marketing and administrative teams to support large fleet accounts
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate client records and ensure proper billing procedures

Qualifications

• RIBO License
• 5-10 years’ commercial insurance sales and service experience
• Exposure to Trucking/Transportation risks
• Proven experience in driving sales and maintaining strong client relationships
• Applied EPIC experience is preferred
• Strong time management and organization skills
