Job Function:

As a member of the HR Support Centre team, you will provide inquiry and transactional support to our regular employees, managers and retirees on employment related matters such as hiring, employee entitlements, benefits, pension, compensation and HR policies and procedures, through multi-channel (telephony, self-serve portal, mobile app, ServiceNow) and in a fast paced environment.

General Accountabilities:

Your job duties will include:

  • Provide consistent, timely, and accurate response to employees, managers and retirees’ inquiries in accordance with plan rules, corporate policies, and provisions of the collective agreements via multi-channel case management tool.
  • Provide consistent, timely, and accurate processing of all transactional HR services via multi-channel case management tool.
  • Participate in special assignments and audits for the collection of data and information to support Human Resources programs and initiatives

Selection Criteria:

  • HR Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor degree in Business or related field
  • 2 years of relevant work experience in a corporate environment- ideally in HR, Customer Service or a Call Centre
  • Previous administrative experience, including responding to emails, answering telephone calls, addressing inquiries, drafting, reviewing legal/HR documents, ensuring compliance with HR and Union policies, experience handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer-service oriented, solutions-focused and a positive attitude
  • Advanced computer skills including facility with MS Office Word, Excel, and Power Point (Access an asset), Previous experience with SAP, SuccessFactors, and Service Now platforms would be an asset
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills; ability to handle a high-volume workload while effectively changing priorities in a fast-paced environment that involves managing tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated attention to detail/accuracy/thoroughness
  • Excellent demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Having worked in a unionized environment will be considered an Asset
  • Work well independently as well as on a team and demonstrate initiative
