About the RoleHumber River Health Foundation is seeking a Foundation Administrator & Receptionist to provide essential administrative support to our leadership and team. While you'll sit at the front desk - and be a welcoming face to visitors - this is a full administrative role supporting the overall operations of the Foundation.

 

This is a full-time, on-site position (Monday to Friday) at our office inside Humber River Hospital. We’re looking for someone who’s dependable, enthusiastic, and excited to be a part of something meaningful.

 

What You’ll Do

 

Foundation Administration & Team Support

  • Provide admin and scheduling support to the President & CEO and Director of Operations
  • Coordinate catering and coffee (yes, it matters!)
  • Support logistics and preparation for Board and Committee meetings
  • Track and submit team expense reports
  • Support invoice processing and vendor payments
  • Keep digital and physical files tidy and organized
  • Assist with donor reports, thank-you letters, and general gift processing tasks (experience with Raiser’s Edge = quiet high five)

 

Office Coordination & Front Desk Support

  • Greet guests and create a warm, professional first impression
  • Accept and process donations at the front desk
  • Answer phone calls and manage incoming/outgoing deliveries
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings and support setup/cleanup
  • Keep the office stocked, tidy, and humming - from snacks to supplies

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of administrative or front desk experience, ideally in a non-profit or fast-paced setting
  • A friendly, can-do attitude and superb organizational skills
  • Confidence managing multiple tasks while staying detail-oriented
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; experience with donor databases is a bonus
  • A commitment to being on-site Monday through Friday - you’re the glue that keeps the place together
