Plan and execute migrations from on-prem servers (physical/virtual) to Azure.
Assess current infrastructure (Windows/Linux, VMware, Hyper-V) and define migration strategy.
Deploy and configure Azure resources (VMs, Storage, Networking, Load Balancers).
Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep) for automated deployments.
Optimize performance and security of migrated environments (RBAC, MFA, encryption).
Manage identities and access via Azure AD (SSO, Conditional Access).
Ensure hybrid connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute, DNS, firewalls).
Maintain compliance (PIPEDA, ISO 27001) and enforce best practices.
Set up monitoring and alerting (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
Collaborate with app and network teams for smooth migration.
Document processes and provide internal training.
Proven experience in on-prem to Azure migration (3+ years).
Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS/PaaS (VMs, Storage, Networking).
Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
Skills in IaC (Terraform, Bicep) and CI/CD (Azure DevOps).
Solid understanding of cloud security and compliance standards.
Nice to have: FinOps, containers (AKS), scripting (PowerShell/Python).
