I am looking for an FP&A accounting analyst for a company in the household appliance sector in Laval.
Your tasks will include:
-Producing and analyzing financial performance indicators (KPIs) by store, region, product, and sales channel.
-Contributing to budget exercises, periodic forecasts, and long-term planning.
-Analyzing variances between actual results, budget, and forecasts, and making recommendations to management.
-Performing profitability analyses related to products, promotions, strategic projects, and store openings.
-Monitor and analyze key items (operating expenses, margins, inventories).
-Develop, optimize, and automate reports and dashboards using Power BI/Power Query.
-Perform ad hoc financial and operational analyses and assist in the preparation of executive reports.
Your profile:
-Degree in accounting, finance, or administration; CPA/CFA an asset.
-3 to 5 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.
-Excellent analytical skills, business acumen, and problem-solving abilities.
-Advanced Excel skills and Power BI experience.
-Bilingualism in French and English to communicate with suppliers in other provinces.
-Rigorous, autonomous, and detail-oriented.
-Ability to collaborate, simplify financial information, and propose innovative solutions.
-Curiosity about AI and digital tools to improve efficiency and decision-making.
