Position Overview:

We are currently seeking motivated, hardworking individuals for the position of Hydro Vac Swamper out of our Edmonton, AB location. This position will be a permanent, year round role. Must have a clean pre-employment/pre-access A&D testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Abide by all Health and Safety protocols.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and safe manner.
• Assist with general labor tasks, such as spotting, collections of materials/supplies etc.
• Must work well with others
• Provide labor and assistance to driver as instructed
• Observe and comply with all Health and Safety requirements, including training
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality
• Take all steps necessary and within reason, for customer satisfaction and retention
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of department operations by suggesting and or implementing procedural improvements
• Attend meetings as requested
• Foreseeing and solving problems
• Consistently managing time efficiently/effectively through planning, organizing and scheduling of daily workload
• Occassional out of town work may be required
• Other duties and projects may be assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Trained in the use and maintenance of all necessary PPE.
• Valid Class 5 license.
• Must be able to take orders and direction.
• Good attention to detail.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment D&A testing
• Moderate heavy lifting and/or other strenuous activities
• Proven ability to work independently while being a team player.
