Help shape the future of higher education in Canada as a Senior Manager at Deloitte, leading complex projects that create lasting impact for institutions, students, and communities.
As a Senior Manager, you will lead complex client engagements in the higher education sector, acting as a strategic advisor to senior administrators and executive stakeholders across Canada, with a primary focus in Ontario. You will work collaboratively with higher education clients to address funding pressures, rising stakeholder expectations, and evolving needs related to technology, infrastructure, security, and the student experience.
Your day-to-day work will include shaping engagement strategy, guiding teams through problem diagnosis and solution development, and facilitating executive discussions to help clients identify strategic opportunities across the student journey and administrative functions. You will oversee complex engagements or multiple workstreams within large-scale transformation programs, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, on budget, and to a high standard. Leveraging your understanding of sector trends, financial operations in higher education, and institutional priorities, you will support clients in areas such as operating model transformation, cost reduction, process modernization, and service delivery improvement.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior client leaders, guiding critical decisions, maintaining strong executive relationships, and delivering practical, actionable solutions. In addition, you will contribute to practice growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, supporting proposal development, and strengthening long-term client relationships-particularly in the finance domain.
Internally, you will play a key leadership role by mentoring and developing junior team members, providing oversight across multiple engagements, and contributing to Deloitte’s broader Higher Education and Public Sector practice. You will also help enhance Deloitte’s market presence through thought leadership, collaboration, and the continuous development of our capabilities.
Our Higher Education team works with colleges, universities, and related public sector organizations across Canada to help them navigate complex strategic, operational, and transformation challenges. We bring together deep sector knowledge, consulting rigor, and a collaborative approach to support clients in delivering better outcomes for students, faculty, staff, and communities.
You will join a high-performing team that values intellectual curiosity, practical problem solving, mentorship, and relationship building. Senior Managers play an important leadership role on our team-shaping client impact, supporting business development, and helping develop the next generation of consultants while contributing to a culture of inclusion, growth, and excellence.
