We are looking for dynamic and driven individuals who are eager to take on either permanent or contract positions. Join us and be part of a transformative journey.

What will your typical day look like?

In this role, you will focus on managing and mitigating risks within the business. Your day will revolve around reviewing proposals and contract documents, analyzing potential risks, and developing strategies to handle them effectively. You will leverage your expertise in contractual terms to ensure alignment with the organization's risk tolerance, bridging gaps between contractual obligations and practical risk management. This is a strategic position aimed at proactively addressing risk concerns through negotiation and collaboration.

This position is not a risk policy or financial risk role. Candidates seeking opportunities specifically in risk policy or financial risk management are encouraged to consider other relevant positions.

Our team is dedicated to excellence in risk management within our advisory services. We work closely with engagement teams and leadership to navigate and mitigate risks associated with contractual terms and service delivery. By fostering collaboration, resolving complex issues, and making informed decisions, we ensure that our operations remain secure and efficient. Join a team that values innovation, precision, and the ability to manage complexity with confidence.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone with:

  • Proven expertise in handling complex contractual terms and managing associated risks.
  • Ability to assess risks in client agreements and propose effective mitigation strategies.
  • At least 10 years of experience in contract negotiations.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate and advocate for risk positions.
  • Familiarity with Canadian standards, industry norms, and regulatory requirements.
  • Leadership in conducting contract negotiations and achieving acceptable risk levels.
  • Skills to simplify complex terms and risks for clear understanding by stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in reviewing and revising agreements to align with organizational risk tolerance.
  • Capability to build trustful relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while juggling multiple priorities.
  • Ability to take on ad hoc responsiblities as required
