Position Overview: Compugen is seeking a highly skilled JD Edwards Specialist to join our team and ensure the seamless operation, maintenance, and evolution of our JD Edwards environments. The ideal candidate should possess deep technical expertise in CNC, alongside a proven track record in managing complex JD Edwards ecosystems. This role demands proficiency in SQL Server, virtualization platforms, and a robust understanding of cloud-based microservices to support our forward-thinking IT strategies. Key Responsibilities:

Position Overview: Compugen is seeking a highly skilled JD Edwards Specialist to join our team and ensure the seamless operation, maintenance, and evolution of our JD Edwards environments. The ideal candidate should possess deep technical expertise in CNC, alongside a proven track record in managing complex JD Edwards ecosystems. This role demands proficiency in SQL Server, virtualization platforms, and a robust understanding of cloud-based microservices to support our forward-thinking IT strategies. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end support and administration of Compugen’s JD Edwards systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
- Leverage advanced CNC skills to implement system configurations, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize workflows.
- Maintain and optimize JD Edwards databases on SQL Server, ensuring data integrity, recovery, and accessibility.
- Manage virtualized environments on VMware/Hyper-V platforms, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
- Collaborate on the integration of JD Edwards systems with cloud microservices, aiding in modernization initiatives and hybrid cloud architecture.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to ensure optimized running of JD Edwards environments to meet business demands.
- Work closely with IT colleagues and cross-functional teams to align JD Edwards operations with broader IT objectives.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, and provide regular reports on system health, changes, and upgrades.
- Stay current with the latest JD Edwards technologies and best practices.
- Provide on-call support as needed.
- Minimum of 10 years hands-on experience with JD Edwards systems, particularly CNC.
- Proven track record in SQL Server database management with a minimum of 7 years experience
- Proven experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne configuration, and administration (preferably versions 9.x).
- Strong understanding of JDE architecture, including application servers (WebLogic), database servers (SQL Server), and deployment servers.
- Experience with package builds and deployments using Change Assistant and Software Updates.
- Proficiency in security administration within JD Edwards.
- Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting of JDE environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skill and ability to handle complex technical challenges
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of BizTalk development, including experience with C# & .Net would be beneficial.
