Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Azure Cloud Administrator to manage and maintain our cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. As an Azure Cloud Administrator, you will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, and optimizing the Azure environment to ensure reliability, security, and efficient performance. You will also be tasked with performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with other IT teams to ensure the smooth operation of cloud services.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Azure Cloud Administrator to manage and maintain our cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. As an Azure Cloud Administrator, you will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, and optimizing the Azure environment to ensure reliability, security, and efficient performance. You will also be tasked with performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with other IT teams to ensure the smooth operation of cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provision, configure, and maintain Azure resources, including Virtual Machines (VMs), Azure Storage, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, and App Services.
- Manage Azure Active Directory (AAD), user access, roles, and permissions through Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to ensure secure and compliant access to cloud resources.
- Use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to monitor cloud infrastructure performance and identify potential issues or inefficiencies.
- Implement and manage backup solutions and disaster recovery strategies using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.
- Ensure that all Azure-based resources are updated and patched regularly in accordance with company policies and industry standards. SCCM
- Automate routine tasks and cloud resource management using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other scripting tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Implement security measures to protect Azure resources, such as Azure Security Center, Azure Firewall, and Key Vault, and ensure compliance with internal and external security policies.
- Monitor cloud usage and costs using Azure Cost Management and make recommendations to optimize spending and improve cost efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation for Azure infrastructure, including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps, and report on system performance and incidents.
- Work closely with other teams (DevOps, developers, and security teams) to support cloud-based application deployment and provide technical support for Azure-related issues.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification or equivalent.
- Proven experience managing Azure cloud services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Azure Active Directory, and App Services.
- Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts, including VNets, subnets, VPNs, NSG (Network Security Groups), and Azure Load Balancer.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory (AAD), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Azure Security Center.
- Proficiency with PowerShell or Azure CLI for automation and scripting tasks.
- Understanding of backup solutions such as Azure Backup and disaster recovery mechanisms like Azure Site Recovery.
- Experience in security management within Azure, including configuring Azure Firewall, Azure Sentinel, and Key Vault for managing secrets and certificates.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues in a cloud-based environment.
- Good understanding of cost management and resource optimization within the Azure cloud environment.
- Experience with networking tools like Azure Application Gateway or Azure Traffic Manager.
- Familiarity with SQL databases in Azure, such as Azure SQL Database.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3-5 years of experience working as an Azure Cloud Administrator or in a similar IT infrastructure role with a focus on cloud technologies.
