AMANI: Mental Health & Substance Use Services for Black Youth (www.amaniservices.ca) is Canada’s first hospital-community partnership of its kind, focused on advancing care for Black children, youth and families. This model of care provides safe, accessible, Africentric and racial trauma-informed support for Black youth (between 12 and 29 years old) and families/caregivers who are impacted by mental health and/or substance use health concerns across ten (10) locations throughout Ontario.

AMANI is seeking a full-time, permanent Nurse Practitioner who will report to the Senior Manager of Child, Youth and Family Services and work collaboratively with other clinical services within the CYEAP and across CAMH, including working collaboratively with CAMH’s Black Health Strategy team. The Nurse Practitioner will work within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse (Extended Class) [RN(EC)], and will practice within AMANI’s interprofessional Consultation-Liaison (CL) Service and Virtual Care Team (VCT), supporting Black youth (and families/caregivers as appropriate) between the ages of 12 and 29 years old, who are navigating mental health and/or substance use health concerns.
