Reporting to the Manager of Work Oriented Clinical Programs, the incumbent is responsible for performing a variety of secretarial and administrative duties, primarily in support of staff working in the Work, Stress and Health (WSH) Program. WSH is part of the larger Work Oriented Clinical Program, a dynamic revenue generating program within CAMH. WSH holds contracts with WSIB, PCVRS, and other third-party insurers to provide assessment and treatment services geared towards supporting clients in mental health recovery. Join a team that provides exceptional care to clients, many of whom are first responders experiencing trauma-related illness, while generating revenue that supports other invaluable work at CAMH.

In providing support to the WSH service, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that might include receiving and processing referrals, scheduling assessment appointments with clients, sending appointment confirmations/virtual meeting links/surveys, proctoring questionnaire completion, information management to ensure timely follow up with clients and funders, pre-populating reports with demographic information, and ensuring timely report submission. You will provide a welcoming, customer service-oriented experience for clients entering the service, and will have the ability to respond appropriately to difficult or urgent situations, such as client distress or crisis when the need arises, while also knowing when to seek support of clinical staff and management. There is a considerable degree of telephone and in-person contact with clients in this role, although most services are delivered virtually. Work is performed with a relative degree of independence in a fast paced, client-centered environment. You will also have the flexibility to provide support to other services within the Work Oriented Clinical Program, including the Back on Track Program, in the role of Department Secretary when required. You will support a workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable regulatory and legislative requirements. This position will be located at 250 College Street.

The successful candidate will possess a 1-year Community College degree, preferably in business administration or secretarial science, combined with at least 1-2 years of administrative support experience. You possess highly developed interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills. You must be well organized, detailed oriented and have familiarity interacting with clients with substance use and mental health issues. You are able to learn new software platforms, and proficient in the following software packages: Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You are proficient at multi-tasking, and changing priorities based on program needs. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and will also enjoy working in a collaborative, fast paced, team environment. The ability to work with clients of diverse backgrounds is required. Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language would be an asset. This position is located at 250 College Street.
