The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is the largest mental health and addiction teaching hospital in Canada, as well as one of the world's leading research centres in its field. The Azrieli Adult Neurodevelopmental Centre is the first research and education centre in Canada dedicated to improving care for adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities and mental health challenges. The Centre’s efforts are organized around four pillars: research excellence, clinical innovation, education and training, and knowledge exchange.
Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Manager, the Azrieli Adult Neurodevelopmental Centre at CAMH is seeking a casual CH&E Coordinator to provide support to a program focused on individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities and their families. In this role, the Coordinator will support the development and implementation of strategies to disseminate research findings, resources, and program materials in ways that maximize their uptake by diverse communities and stakeholders. They will also contribute to communications and knowledge mobilization initiatives across digital and in-person platforms, including social media, newsletters, and events, while collaborating with stakeholders such as people with lived experience, caregivers, service providers, and researchers to ensure communications are accessible, engaging, and inclusive. Other duties may be added based on the program’s needs and the skills and interests of the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
The individual will support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork, and complies with all applicable CAMH policies and regulatory and legislative requirements.
Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required. This position is located at 1025 Queen Street West.
