Job Title: Project Manager: Engineering

 Location: Hybrid  - 3 days a week in Mirabel

 Job description:

CapGemini are currently looking for an Engineering Project Manager with experience in Aerospace. We are currently seeking an individual who enjoys and is accustomed to working on the progress of design changes. This role is great for a dynamic individual who has a natural sense of prioritizing urgent matters, and is skilled at communicating with different levels of an organization.

 

Key responsibilities:
  • Monitor the high-level schedule of development and change activities;
  • Guide the Engineering Airframe team through the gates of change requests; generate analysis related to the team workload and identify bottlenecks and capacity issues;
  • Work in collaboration with multiple collaborators (internal & external) at the same time in order to achieve the development and change activities;
  • Communicate to Engineering stress team their priorities;
  • Support the execution of team priorities and results;
  • Support required governances link to the support Engineering group release;
  • Provide a capacity plan to stress management team;

 

Required Skills
  • You have a Bachelor’s in Engineering, Project management, Business administration or the equivalent;
  • You have from 3 to 7 years of experience in project management and/or project coordination in Engineering.
  • You have leadership skills, and you are able to defend your point when necessary;
  • You can handle multiple priorities at same time and are able to lead operational issues;
  • You are an organized person;
  • You have the experience collaborating with multiple companies;
  • You have knowledge of the stress analysis domain (an advantage);
  • You have experience in aeronautic industry (an advantage);
  • Communication skills both verbally and in written in French and in English;
  • You are a great teammate with proven aptitudes in communication ensuring a positive collaboration multiple business partners involved.
