THE ROLEUnder the direction of the Regional Operations Manager- Soldier On, the Regional Coordinator - Soldier On develops, plans, manages and leads all levels of Soldier On events in accordance with (IAW) established procedures within the National Capital Region (NCR). The Regional Coordinator - Soldier On recommends changes when and where needed, manages post-event requirement for regional events, including but not limited to surveys, claims processing and, after actions report IAW established procedures. They create partnerships with service delivery stakeholders on a regional basis and communicate issues and concerns to manager/supervisor, develops and reviews drafts of various letters, documents, minutes, memoranda, briefing notes, budget submissions, after action repots and letters of appreciation. The Regional Coordinator - Soldier On works with other divisions of the Organization as well as departments of DND, such as the CAF Transition Unit (TU), to ensure seamless program delivery consistent with Soldier On’s mandate, identifying any existing gaps and recommending solutions and works with ill/injured members to support grant and event applications IAW Solider On Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
Bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration or recreation or a related field AND some years of experience in management or a related field
OR
College diploma or certificate in sports and recreation administration or a related field AND several years of experience in financial administration or a related field
OR
A demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. This includes but is not limited to demonstrated military education, training or experience

OTHER INFORMATIONThis is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
