THE ROLEAs the Recondioning Program Coordinator, you will be collaborating with key stakeholders from the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and Personnel Support Programs (PSP) departments to empower reconditioning teams across the country. You will act as a subject matter expert in the programs and services you coordinate and your role will involve developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-informed programs and services that aim to increase the operational and health-related fitness of the CAF. To be successful in this position, you should be a good communicator, writer and possess some background in program research, development, training, implementation, support, and evaluation. Other responsibilities will include supporting the training curriculum for CFMWS Reconditioning employees.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Sciences, or in a related field and some years of experience in physical fitness program and evaluation administration
Current Certified Exercise Physiologist (CSEP_CEP) OR equivalent certification from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), essential
Current Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA-CSCS), an asset
