THE ROLEUnder the supervision of the Museum Gift Shop Supervisor, the Museum Gift Shop Clerk operates a cash register, maintains a float, receives payment by cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit and performs refunds, voids, and returns, as necessary. They maintain inventory, tracks purchases and sales and assists in the display of merchandise. They prepare reports from manual or electronic files, inventories, mailing lists or databases.

OTHER INFORMATIONThis is an on-site position with an assigned work location.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 0900 to 1645. Some weekends during summer months and for special events.
Perform moderate lifting, carrying, pulling and/or pushing (i.e. more than 10 lbs/4.5 kg but less than 50 lbs/23 kg)
This Category I unionized position is open to all interested parties. Preference will be granted in accordance with the Collective Agreement for the PSAC bargaining unit for NPF Category I employees at CFB Kingston.
