THE ROLEAs an Inventory Control Clerk, you help support the provision of retail services to a unique client base - members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and in assisting them, you are helping your community. You understand the fulfilment needs of the stores and e-commerce platform, thus providing optimum in-stock levels by monitoring sales and inventory. You administer vendor contracts, confirming receipt of goods from suppliers and verifying the accuracy of purchase orders.
The Inventory Control Clerk provides administrative support and collaborates in the implementation of assortment, allocation, space and replenishment strategies. You collect and analyze data to determine customer buying trends and respond to inquiries and correspondence. You maintain filing systems including purchasing files, reports and records.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma AND several years of experience in office administration or a related field

A demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.

OTHER INFORMATIONThis is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
