THE ROLEUnder the direction of Senior Manager Infrastructure Projects, the Infrastructure Projects Manager plans, analyzes and manages the delivery of a construction project throughout the project life cycle from initiation to close out for the CANEX division. They prepare and administer the design consultant’s and General Contractor’s contract. They liaise and consult with stakeholders to determine renovation and/or construction needs. They review, analyse, and mark architectural, mechanical and electrical drawings using design engineering software and PDF documents. They review and interpret technical studies, such as geotechnical, site surveys and environmental assessments and makes recommendations.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture or a related field, AND several years of experience in construction engineering, or in a related field

In planning, analyzing and managing facility renovation and construction projects
In applying policies, procedures and regulations
In analyzing and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
In budget administration
In writing Statement of Requirements and Scope of Work documents
In estimating construction project costs
In contract management and administration
In using design engineering software
In using software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, e-mail, and Internet browsing

OTHER INFORMATIONThis is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
